This car has aluminium bodywork like all the 'Tour de France' berlinettas, ans is one of the batch of 16 first examples with three louvres on the quarterlight (sail) panel. It was raced in 1957 and 1958, and subsequently has been owned by different enthusiasts.
It has taken part in historic events since, and a sturdy roll-over bar was installed in the cockpit. The original type 128 C engine was replaced by a 128 D competition unit from a California (0220 D) of very similar power output.
The red upholstery is in good original condition. The car has been resprayed and runs well after a general mechanical overhaul.
